You don't have to lose your fitness while waiting for your Achilles to recover
Our approach combines “relative rest” and strength training, which allow you to continue training while helping your Achilles tendon to recover.
WHAT OUR PATIENTS SAY
We're both Chartered Sports Physiotherapists with Master's Degrees in Sports Physiotherapy.
Our Four-Step Programme for Achilles tendon pain, based on load management and the “relative rest” approach, is the result of more than 30 years’ combined experience of getting injured people up and running again.
OUR 4 STEP PROCESS
This is our Four-Step Process that will help your Achilles tendon recover as quickly as possible.
HOW ONLINE ASSESSMENTS WORK
All of our assessments are done using video calls e.g. Skype, WhatsApp or Zoom. We always start the process by listening to you and taking a thorough history of your injury, its onset and symptoms.
Then we observe you perform a battery of biomechanical and strength tests with the aim to identify all possible factors that may have contributed to your Achilles pain.
Finally, we compile a bespoke treatment plan (with pictures and videos of your exercises) that takes your symptoms, lifestyle and training goals into account. You can read more about the online physio process here.
Feel free to email us at with any questions or use the contact form on this page.
You can also book a quick call if you prefer to talk to one of us. This is just a quick 10 minute call to ask questions before you book an appointment. We can't give any treatment advice during the quick calls as we need to do a full assessment in order to give any meaningful advice. Please book a full consultation if you would like treatment advice.
